By the way, I regularly read articles on scientific research related to the brain and often write about them on my blog. If you're interested, here are some links:

Michael Persinger is a brain researcher who has had some success in artificially inducing a feeling that some interpret as religiosity by directing a strong magnetic field into a specific part of the brain. It doesn't work consistently but appears to be linked to the subject's suggestibility. This is reinforced by the fact that the subjects' religious visions can be somewhat manipulated by changing the decor, so if you put a subject in a room decorated with Eastern decor, he would be more likely to experience visions of Eastern deities for example.

Relevant link:

Similar to the video link you posted, recent research also suggests that subjects who have incurred damage to specific parts of their brains are prone to feeling transcendence. Surgically removing specific parts of the brain works as well.

Choo, that video link is indeed interesting but I have to draw a different conclusion from it that what you've seemingly reached. You seem to think that this demonstrates the reality of what is sometimes known as the transcendence effect and that this is something that we should strive for.
In my case, I certainly agree that the transcendence effect exists but this demonstration only proves that the effect is simply a product of the brain's biochemistry and that there are no supernatural causes for it. If you enjoy that feeling then, by all means, you should try to reach that state of mind, even if you have to induce it artificially. But I do not agree that just because this effect exists that we have to reach it. After all, being drunk is another brain state. What if someone enjoys the state of inebriation? Similarly, I enjoy playing games and the brain state I strive for can be summed up as "enjoyable frustration".

sorry i need to explain what i said earlier:
the youtubelink i posted, she saying we are brothers and sisters, that part sounds abit religion.
but i don't think she is trying to make a religion of of this because earlier you were saying "为什么要将这种体验归纳为宗教呢？"

那你错了。爱不是只是在宗教里找到的。我的爱和理想是通过艺术得到的。我的老公的爱和理想是通过科学得到的。一个非常反对宗教的无神论者，可以是对人生和世界充满激情和关怀的。
